There are some basic principles you need to remember about the limits of the human body and the way it works and keep these in mind when performing tasks and your workstation layout.

Range of Movement

At the end of the range of movement tendons and muscles are stretched and are at their least powerful. If force is then applied an injury could occur.

Muscle Activity

Static (holding) work and dynamic (moving). It is beneficial if muscles receive the right amount of blood and oxygen a combination between these types of movements.
