Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this role seeks an individual with significant accounts payable and receivable expertise. Your primary role will be to provide an effective, efficient and accurate accounts payable, receivable and payroll service for the company. Delivering a high level of job satisfaction and enhance your existing experience, you will enjoy a challenging and varied workload which is highly valued by the organisation.
This position requires someone with outstanding organisational and administration capabilities who is able to prioritise and manage their time effectively to deliver exceptional outcomes. You will possess strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport at all levels both internally and externally.
Role Outline:
- Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, receivable and sales.
- Ensuring invoices are correctly coded and approved in accordance with company guidelines prior to processing
- Daily banking and receipting
- Responsible for processing payment runs to suppliers
- Debtor follow up and reconciliation of Debtors consolidation report
- Assisting with the preparation and authorisation of payroll for 250 employees
- Required to liaise externally on invoicing and payment requirements.
- Assisting with resolving discrepancies that are arise and handling difficult expectations, recognising problem areas as they arise and making recommendations to leaders
- Prioritising work load to ensure duties are completed within timeframes.
The successful applicant will have an energetic and proactive approach and own a strong background in accounts payable and receivable. Prior payroll and MYOB experience is desired however not essential. This is a corporate environment and your written and verbal presentation skills must reflect this.
This position is currently offered on a .8 of a week basis with the option for flexibility in working hours.
